HISTORY
Rosenberger-OSI was founded with its headquarters in Ichenhausen in 1991. Motivation was the development of innovative cabling concepts for the data communications sector.
We became the first company to supply high fiber PreCONNECT® trunk systems for data center cabling to our customers in 1992 after the completion of successful development work.
We expanded our sales activities in 1995 with the introduction of our own sales branch offices in Germany and the rest of Europe after the successful market introduction of PreCONNECT®.
In the same year, the Rosenberger-OSI concern was granted the EN ISO 9001 certificate with full recognition.
In 1997, the enormous demand for PreCONNECT® products made the expansion of industrial capacities necessary. The new business in Hungary, OSI KFT with its headquarters in Taksony, started production
The strategic merging of the Rosenberger HF-Technik company was carried out with its headquarters in Tittmoning in 1998.
Rosenberger-OSI was thus able to expand its business chances on a global scale and could offer its customers the highest degree of service, flexibility and reliability.
The year 2000 saw Rosenberger-OSI present the PreCONNECT® trunk system with 144 fibers.
Capacity expansion became necessary due to substantial increased demand in the production location Taksony, Hungary, in 2001. The construction of a new production building meant that 2100 m˛ was now available for production and logistics.
In 2002, further growth makes doubling the capacities and a restructuring of the logistics necessary.
Rosenberger-OSI obtains its new location in Augsburg and is able to achieve an optimum service for customers.
Rosenberger-OSI began to produce MU and SC connectors in series in 2004 after successful development and is thus able to produce standard connectors in synthetic materials itself.
Rosenberger-OSI extends the logistics area of the OSI KFT's manufacturing site in Hungary in 2005.
In 2008 Rosenberger-OSI becomes a connector manufacturer and starts the series production for the fiber-optic connectors SC, LC, MU.
