The new cables with the high-performance OM4 fibers from Rosenberger-OSI are violet!

In order to enable an easier visual differentiation between fiber types from the cable jacket and to set forth the industry standards for the known fiber types, Rosenberger-OSI introduces violet for its OM4 cable range (RAL4003).

Rosenberger-OSI thereby allows laid cables to be identified at a glance and makes a considerable contribution for maintaining order and transparency in the data center. The colour coding prevents links from being established with cables which are not compatible.

The new dimension in expanded beam technology
